Master the Psychology of Thinking Prosperously!

"Another part of the equation that should be reviewed while you begin your path to your Independent Prosperity is ~ what you feel you may be owed, or due ~ based on your own criteria, in your own mind.

Let's think about this for a moment.  Is there someone, a group of people, an organization or company, that you feel owes you something?  I call this your "Personal Encumbrance Inventory" or PEI, which is person-specific.  Meaning, this inventory only applies to you and what you feel you are owed by others.  This is a good time for you to begin to create this inventory, because it is an integral part of your ability to create your independent prosperity ~ but more importantly, maintain it.

For instance, your PEI could possibly list what you are owed by others, such as ~
  • an apology
  • a second chance
  • a promotion
  • a fresh start
  • a thank you
  • a happier childhood
  • a deeper relationship
  • an explanation
  • repayment for a monetary loan or other type of assistance
And so forth.  And, you may have created a timeline for those wrongs to be righted, those debts to be repaid.

...for those of you who may be relating to what I am talking about, there is another part to this equation.  It's not just about you and what was done to you or is owed you ~ it is about the other person or people involved ~ and what they may think in their own minds ~ what they may think was done to them, or just what may be owed to them.

...just like any boss has his own criteria separate from yours, so does anyone you feel owes you or has wronged you as well ~ they also have their own criteria about the situation.  The purpose of this chapter is not to explain or even question the validly of the feelings or explanations of the situation or situations involved, on either side.  Because in reality ~ both sides have validity.  Both sides believe they are right.  Otherwise, there would be no challenge, no conflict between the two.

Rather, this chapter is geared to help you understand that resolving any feelings of being owed, or wronged, is key, and at the very center of your independent prosperity."
